The middle member of the world-famous Cohiba Behike 3-vitola line, the Cohiba Behike 54( BHK 54) is an elegantly-packaged, thickly-cut, and full-flavored delight.
Cohiba Behike 54 OverviewÂ
Building on the success of the iconic Cohiba Behike, the Behike 54 is known for its heavy Medio Tiempo tobacco taste and wide 54 ring gauge. As is the case with all three Cohiba Behikes, this 5¾-inch cigar is partially constructed from the rare and separated Medio Tiempo leaf, then bound, wrapped, and filled in Cuba.
Smoking a Cohiba Behike 54 (BHK 54)
The Behike 54 has a thick and full taste that is well worth its rather high price. Notably, the wrapping smells of warm hay.
It has a thick ring gauge and the filling contains Medio Tiempo, a delicate leaf found at the top of very few Cuban-seed tobacco plants. This tobacco is fermented separately before being added to the cigar.
This particular leaf lends the cigar a rugged, slightly smoky flavor, yet ensures the draw is exceptionally smooth. The use of Medio Tiempo in a cigar is rare and this does increase the price, as well as providing flavor that’s distinct from most other Cubans.
The Behike 54’s Toro shape is clean, and the iconic BHK label by the cap is a reflection of this cigar’s continued excellence in both flavor and look.

Although it is a fairly expensive Cuban cigar, the Cohiba Behike BHK 54 delivers a range of hearty, woody flavors. It provides a smooth, memorable pre-draw experience that is both original and satisfying.

I received a box of these along with a box of BHK52s. Separate shipments same order date. The packaging was intact on both shipments as well as the boxes and cigars. Both boxes were from Jun 15 so it will be a while before I smoke them. For now I just look at them in my humidor and wonder what a genuine Behike must taste like. After seeing the banRead more about review stating Real BHK52ds and boxes on these cigars I realize all the Behikes I’ve smoked so far have been fakes. Have no fear with LuxuryCubans. Best i have smoked , hands down ! Creamy yet flavorful, all kinds of flavors within , burns beautifully , i wasnt going to smoke it , but than 1 of the cigar has a little crack on the tip , so i thought i smoke that one and keep the perfect box with a humid pack omg , such a perfect non everyday cigar ! I had the 52 and the larger one and 54 is my favorite, i was hoping it doesnt standout that much so i can keep hunting for cheaper cigars
