Cohiba Siglo II Tubos (Siglo II) are entirely handmade in the El Laguito factory, located in the mythical Cubanacán district of Havana. The tobacco used is a mixture of leaves from the San Juan y Martinez and Vuelta Abajo plantations. Cohiba Siglo 2 is smoked in its entirety between 60 and 90 minutes. Those in a hurry can finish it in 30 minutes. It has a length of 129 mm for a cepo of 42 must a diameter of 16.67 mm
This raw Cohiba cigar gives off floral nuances with a marked barnyard smell. The first puffs of the first third reveal a rather strong leather scent as well as a particularly pronounced tobacco aroma. Although copious, these aromas are not heady: they are sweet and volatile. As it is smoked, the cigar reveals a caramel taste and pleasant woody tones that contribute to the complexity of the aromatic panel. In the second third, a salvo of honey, leather and grass enriches this tasty initial bouquet of aromas. All these flavours form a perfect balance in the final third, characterised by an intensification of the cigar’s strength.
